They have learnt a lot theoretical before this, but not on practical. So we really hope that all students learn the best way through this method.

We use some charts to help them understand the steps beside of the cd interactive learning.

Salam.. enjoy the pictures.. All these pictures also can be viewed at our official facebook page also. Thank you.

We were all served with plenty of delicious food, not enough with a colorful biskut raya as well as all dishes such as rendang, mee goreng and so much more.

The girls look so pretty with their respective baju kurung, kebaya and jubah meanwhile all boys look dorp dead handsome with their baju melayu and sampin.

They were entertained with some lagu raya while they are all having so much fun eating and chit chating about how their raya.

The day ended with a salam session with teacher and receive money pocket as duit raya. Thank you so much with all the mouth watering foods and all the effort to enliven the memorable day.

May Allah granted us with all kindness and bless. Insyaallah.

A week before which was Friday, we were celebrating Merdeka Day at our school. The day started with welcoming student and photography session. Then, we had a very good time outside hanging all flags.

Next session was singing Negaraku, Jalur Gemilang, Keranamu Malaysia and 1 Malaysia song. Then, we continue with circle time about merdeka and our country, Malaysia. It was good to see they really excited to know about hibiscus, KLCC, Sepang circuit and anything about Malaysia. We ended up the day with some worksheets about Malaysia.

Thanks to all parents who give us lots of flag especially the hand made one. We love it so much :)

Assalamualaikum, please be noted that we are going to have Merdeka Day Celebration on Friday, 09^th September 2011. Students wear their sport attire as usual and encourage to bring any kind of material refering to Merdeka such as Jalur Gemilang Flag, pictures of hibiscus etc.The program will be as stated inside student's notebook.

Salam aidilfitri to all parents. Please be informed that we are going to celebrate Syawal on Monday, 12^th October 2011. All students must wear their baju raya and allowed to bring any kind of food such as biskut raya, nasi goreng, maruku, goodies, cake and etc to enliven the celebration and sharing the joy! Thank you.

Assalamualaikum.

As we all know, we held a project named PLANTIME on last Friday which this project is the continuity of our theme for March (weather).

Parents have been asked to bring a small container to be loaded with cotton wool and seed (bean).

Students have been taught about how the small beans can grow up and become beansprouts.

The aim of this project is to investigate the basic needs of plants to live.

And after the planting session, students did arts and crafts based on the learning which is the basic needs of plants. One of them is sunlight :)

The Three Year Old Program Includes:

Character Development: Facilitate social and emotional development individually and in groups, through play experiences, free play, and more structured activities. Focus is on developing respect, sharing and learning to be part of a group.
Pre-Reading Skills: Introduce skills through developing oral language, phonics and literature. Letter/sound of the week, songs, rhymes and games are utilized. Fine motor skills are reinforced through daily craft and writing activities.
Math: Introduce math concepts using manipulatives, games and activities. Concepts introduced are: counting (1-10), number recognition, shapes and colors.
Science: Introduction to seasons, animals and their life cycles, parts of the body.
Language: Introduce basic language concepts such as family names, colors, and animals through songs, puppets, and stories.
Physical Education: Develop large motor skills and coordination through movement activities, games and using various equipment such as parachutes, cones and scooters.

We soar when we see a child ‘get it’ for the very first time.

We worry while we drive home about that child that just seems lost.

Not much grosses us out.

We know when it’s been too quiet for too long and we need to investigate.

We can pretend to be interested in slimey things – from a safe distance.

We can make almost anything sound like a fun and interesting choice.

We save bubble wands and the lids to dried up markers.

We’ve perfected the ‘i don’t think so’ look and can guide childrens’ behavior often with just a facial expression.

We get excited about little things.

We know that a bandaid does more than just cover a scrape or cut.

We save things that other people consider junk… and when we see ‘junk’ we wonder what can we can do or make with it.

We know the current most popular children’s television shows, based merely on the shoes the kids are wearing. Who needs Nielson ratings?

We will pick things out of the garbage for our school, but not for ourselves.

We respond to things like: “Miss Cathy!” Being yelled enthusiastically (and with a degree of bewilderment) in the grocery store.

We inwardly groan when a child comes in with an action figure, or with McDonalds because they ‘didn’t have lunch yet’.

We are often heard to say the phrase: ‘use your words’ as a mantra.

We usually know when problems at home have started, even before a parent tells us.

We know how to make a bathroom accident seem like absolutely no big deal.

Some of us know we don’t look very graceful getting up from sitting on the floor anymore, but we know that that’s not what’s important.

We love velcro and we love the dollar store.

We instinctively know when a child is about to put a serving spoon in their mouth.

We usually have a tissue on hand.

We go home very tired at the end of the day, but usually happy.

As a group, we tend to have a genuine love for life and fun, and appreciate that quality in children. We know that what we do is important.

Tips mengajar kanak-kanak membaca buku.

Apabila kita mengajar kanak-kanak tentang buku, kita bukan sahaja perlu mengajar mereka isi kandungan buku yang dibaca. Tetapi lebih dari itu sebenarnya.

(1) It is better kalau dapat berkongsi dengan kanak-kanak apa kepentingan buku dan cara menjaga buku dan adab ketika di library.

(2) Ajarkan mereka info yang terdapat di luar buku, belakang, atas dan bawah cover buku seperti ilustrasi, penerbit, penulis dan tajuk.

(2) Ajar mereka juga cara yang betul memegang buku dan menyelak helaian kertas. Iaitu dimulai dengan sebelah atas di sebelah kanan.

(3) Jika kanak-kanak itu masih kecil, boleh ajarkan mereka membaca dengan menggunakan jari sebagai penunjuk bacaan dan pointkan ke arah gambar dan perkataan yang sedang dibaca supaya kanak-kanak tidak terlepas pandang dan 'lost' dalam proses membaca itu.

(4) Pastikan aliran bacaan itu betul iaitu dari kiri ke kanan dan dari atas ke bawah. Dengan ini, mereka juga belajar bagaimana hendak membaca dan memulakan bacaan dan tulisan.

(5) Galakkan mereka menyebut huruf pertama yang mereka jumpe dalam mana-mana perkataan dan dengan ini secara tidak sengaja mereka dapat menggabungkan huruf dan membina perkataan serta menambahkan kemahiran mengeja.

(6) Yang terakhir, pastikan mereka dapat mengulang kembali skop cerita atau is kandungan buku tersebut dengan menyenaraikan nilai dan moral daripada cerita.

Tanamlah minat membaca kepada kanak-kanak untuk membina generasi yang berilmu. Masa depan buku di tangan anak-anak masa kini.
